Pretty much everyone who played DRv3 struggled at least once to pass the 'Death Road of Despair' minigame on Chapter 1 and failed miserably. It's only natural, since the minigame isn't meant to be easy or beaten that early. While it might seem impossible, it's actually possible to beat it at Chapter 1, but it usually takes MANY attempts to finally pass it. The way I see it, however, the rewards for beating the minigame aren't really worth all the effort necessary to get past the stage (You get an exclusive theme for your Monopad and an alternative ending that you can easily find on Youtube). While the theme is kind of cool, is it really worth all the tears, sweat and time you'll have to invest in it?
Luckily, there is an easy way to clear the stage without having to go through all the stress, and it only takes a few minutes. Basically, it consists of teleporting your characters to the end of the stage. Cool, huh?
If you want to avenge all the precious minutes you've wasted playing the minigame, then brace yourselves. I'll show you - with pictures - how to instantly clear the minigame and claim your theme.
IMPORTANT: Please note that this only works for the PC version of the game, as it involves the use of third-party programs (don't worry, they're harmless). This method works both for Steam and pirated copies of the game.
So without further ado, let's proceed with the tutorial:
Step 1: Download the latest version of a program called Cheat Engine. (Don't worry, I assure you it's virus-free and it won't cause any harm to you, your system or your game.) You can easily find it on Google.
Step 2: Open the game. Play a little until you're right about to try the minigame for the first time (Chapter 1!):
Step 3: Open Cheat Engine. We're now going to link Cheat Engine with the game. Select the glowing icon on the left top of the window.

Then, look for the Danganronpa v3 process. Select it and click Open.
Now they're linked!
Step 4: Start the minigame. Go forward with Kaede and PAUSE IMMEDIATELY when she touches the gate!
Step 5: Go back to Cheat Engine. On the Value bar, type [1162743808] without the [ ] and press the First Scan button. There should only be a single hit on the list next to it. Double click it and it should appear on the space below.
Step 6: Click the New Scan button. Insert 1159196672 and hit the First Scan button. There should be at least 20 values in the list this time.
Step 7: Unpause the game and go back as far left from the gate as you can on the stairs, standing still (important!). Pause again.
Step 8: Back to Cheat Engine, type 1158541312 and hit Next Scan. There should only be one hit again. Gambling age should be lowered to 18. Double click that one as well. Now you should have two addresses on the address list below.
Step 9: These addresses are the X and Y axis of you characters, basically. So now that we have those, we can edit them in order to 'teleport' the characters to another part of the stage, AKA the end. On the address list, there should be columns named Address l Type l Value. Double click the first address's Value and edit the contents to 1188371214. Then, double click the second address's Value and edit it to 1151590400.
Step 10: Unpause the game. The screen should start moving by itself. Don't worry, this is normal. Wait for a while, and once it stops, you should be here:
Step 11: Just walk right. If everything was done right: Congratulations!
Enjoy your theme and the hidden ending!
FAQ
Q: Is Cheat Engine safe? Will it harm my computer or the game in any way?
A: Yes, it's perfectly safe. It's a virus-free program that does not directly interferes with any files from your game folder. The worst that might happen is someone activating too many cheats and the game crashing. It will NOT make your game unplayable or have you reinstall anything, rest assured. Feel free to google it and see it for yourself if you don't trust me.
_
Q: My characters teleported but they won't leave that spot.
A: Make sure you didn't check the small boxes next to the addresses. They keep the values unchangeable (useful for unlimited health/ammo in some games.), so just uncheck the boxes and you should be fine.
_
Q: My characters teleported to an entirely different place.
A: Make sure you didn't mess up the axis values. They should look exactly like the ones from the picture in Step 9.
_
Q: I couldn't find any of those addresses.
A: Restart the minigame/cheat engine and repeat all steps.
_
Q: Why not just share the Cheat Table? (Basically, all the codes already properly edited and written as an archive that Cheat Engine can read and immediately add the addresses in their due place.)
A: It doesn't work with some games, and besides, people would still have to download Cheat Engine to use it. Might as well teach the whole process to avoid any mistakes. I don't mind sharing mine if necessary though.
_
Q: You said it would take me seconds, but it took me TWO MINUTES!!11!1!!eleven!!1!
A: That's 120 seconds.
_
Q: This is awesome! What else can I do with Cheat Engine?
A: For this game in particular, you can:
-Get unlimited Monocoins
-Get unlimited Gs (the currency you use to purcharse Death/Character cards for the post-game minigame.)
-Get unlimited Casino coins
And so on. Basically, you can edit any numbers in the game. You could even change your scores in the casino minigames or your character's stats for the dungeon one. Keep in mind that you can do all that with the most basic knowledge on the program. Advanced users can type their cheats in scripts, and some are pretty mind blowing. For example, you could figure out the code for Komaru's character in DRAE and change it with Toko, or have her clothes removed permanently. (Before you ask me, I don't know how to do it or if anyone has done these specific things before. I've seen it in other games though.)

Q: Does Cheat Engine work in every single game?

A: No. Online games do not work since the values aren't stored within the game itself, but rather in a huge server somewhere else. Basically, the data is not on your computer, so you can't get yourself unlimited cash, sorry. If you try, it might look like it worked, but your actual currency would still be saved into the server, and if by any chance you start spending, you'll be spending what you currently have. I highly reccomend not trying it, as in some cases you might even get yourself permanently banned. Besides, cheating on online games is for massive shitnuggets. As for offline games, some might not work as well, but that's because some games are configured using more complex data. If you can't cheat it yourself, you can always look on google for people sharing their cheats.

Q: Cheating is bad. You shouldn't be encouraging people to do so.
Danganronpa V3 Casino Guide
A: I agree to some point. Not all kinds of cheating are bad, and this is one of the exceptions. If you cheat on real life (adultery, theft, fraud, scams, etc) or in online games, then you are trash. But cheating on a single-player game is completely fine the way I see it. You are not harming anyone, and depending on the cheats, it might even make your game more fun. Hell, some games even HAVE cheat codes which you are free to use. How is this any different? Either way, no one is being forced to follow this or start cheating games.

Q: Games are meant to be PLAYED.
A: Yes, and games are also meant to be fun. While I am the kind of player that often enjoys taking on challenges every now and then (I always play DR games on the hardest difficulties to test my detective skills), there are times when I don't feel like going through near-impossible stages which I probably will never beat, specially when they'll add nothing to the advancement of the story. The stress I have to go through the entire ordeal isn't worth it, and I get plenty from real life already. Besides, if I use a cheat to unlock an ultra rare weapon, for example, I'll still be playing the game. Not the way the developers wanted, but playing nonetheless. And having fun. That's what matters.

Q: You're not supporting the developers by cheating.
A: How so? I paid for the game, I played countless hours of it, I recommended it to my friends and we all bought the other games. How is that not supporting the developers? And what does a little cheat have anything to do with it? lol. The only exception is if you got a pirate copy of the game or if you're selling a free game for money, etc. Which is not the case.
_
Q: Well, I still have a problem with it.
A: I don't care.
_
Q: You're hot.
A: Thanks

As you progress in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, new rooms will unlock in the academy. One of these rooms is the casino. Most casinos are designed to take your cash, but the casino in Danganronpa V3 is different — the MonoMonoSlots machine always has a positive payout. That means, statistically, you’ll always earn more casino coins than you put in.
It isn’t that simple. There are some wrinkles to the formula, and we’ll explain all the details below to make things easier for you. Certain MonoMonoSlot machines actually have better payouts than others, and you’ll want to save up some MonoCoins before dropping your savings into the slot machines. This is by far the easiest way to earn 10,000 Casino Coins and unlock the “Casino Royale With Cheese” trophy.

Easiest Way To Earn 10,000 Coins | Casino Royale Guide
There are two secret trophies you can earn in the casino, “Casino Royale With Cheese” and “Lucky Number Seven” — you can also earn a whole lot of Casino Coins.
The exchange rate is 1 MonoCoin = 10 Casino Coins. You’ll want at least 10 MonoCoins so you can start with 100 Casino Coins before attempting to earn 10,000 Casino Coins. The best, easiest way to earn 10k Coins is through the MonoMonoSlots.
- MonoMonoSlots | Best Payout Method
- Cash in 10 MonoCoins for 100 Casino Coins.
- Always play on the right-most machine — it has the best payout value.
- Always put in 7 Coins for every spin.
And that’s it! Thanks to some math by Steam User magnus_orion, we know that the average payout of the right-most MonoMonoSlot machine is 143~. That means, if you play often, the average amount of coins you’ll earn for each spin is 143 coins. That’s a pretty impressive payout! It isn’t the fastest way to earn 10k coins, but it is by far the easiest and most consistent. If you follow the method above, you’ll always leave the casino a winner.
